According to Reuters, the city of Harbin, in the province of Heilongjiang has reported 3 new cases of COVID-19. The last documented case of COVID-19 is that city was in February. Businesses and schools have been closed and residents are told to restrict their traveling.
Harbin is in the Northeast area of China and experiences very frigid winters. Officials are concerned that the increasingly cold weather will cause people to remain more indoors, which will result in an increase in COVID-19 infections.
