Kirk Douglas has passed away at the age of 103. During is career Douglas was an actor, producer, director, author, and more. He has also been the recipient of many awards. Douglas’s film career spanned decades and some of the films he is known for are: Lust For Life, The Bad and the Beautiful, Champion, 20,000 League Under the Sea, and Spartacus. He also had the opportunity to act with his son, Michael Douglas, and grandson, Cameron Douglas in the movie It Runs in the Family. The movie also included Kirk Douglas’s first wife (Michael Douglas’s mother), Diana Love Webster playing his character’s wife.
Kirk Douglas leaves behind his wife of 65 years Anne Buydens; three of his sons: Michael Douglas, Peter Douglas, and Joel Douglas. In 2004 his youngest son Eric Douglas passed away from an accidental overdose.
In the wake of his passing, Kirk’s Douglas’s surviving family members have posted heartfelt tributes expressing their love for him on social media.
His daughter-in-law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, wife of Michael Douglas, posted a sweet tribute on Instagram.
