Missoula County in Montana Request National Guard as COVID cases surge

As COVID-19 surges in Montana, the Missoula County’s Office of Emergency Management Director has requested the aide of National Guard troops to help manage the growing COVID-19 cases.    The Montana Public Radio has reported that the Missoula County’s Office of Emergency Management Director has requested that 24 national guard troops as the numbers continue to climb. As of Friday, there are 1,163 active cases in the area with an estimated population of 117,922.
